Goldrick Farrell Mullan traces its history back to 1988 when Vin Goldrick established the firm in Parramatta’s CBD. The firm was then known as Goldrick & Associates. The firm name was changed to Goldrick Farrell Mullan in 1991 after David Farrell and Barry Mullan became Partners. The firm expanded quickly and the Head Office was transferred to Sydney's CBD. Branch offices were subsequently opened in Canberra, Newcastle, Killara, Mosman, Chatswood, North Turramurran and Hornsby.
After further consolidation the Killara office was merged into the Chatswood office and the North Turramurra office was merged into the Hornsby office. The firm opened a new Gosford office on 30 March 2020 and now provides legal services from the Sydney CBD, up the North Shore to the Central Coast of NSW.
Goldrick Farrell Mullan opened its Hornsby office after the firm merged with Hornsby law firm Humphreys & Feather Solicitors in March 2012.
Humphreys & Feather traces its history back to the firm of Ian Corish & Co. that was established by Ian Corish in the 1960's. The firm was acquired by Pamela Humphreys in the 1980's on the retirement of Ian Corish and became known as Humphreys & Corish. Peter Feather joined the firm in the 1990's and on becoming a partner the firm’s name was changed to Humphreys & Feather. After Peter Feather was appointed a Magistrate of the Local Court of NSW in March 2012 the firm merged with Goldrick Farrell Mullan. Pamela Humphreys left the firm in early 2013 to pursue other interests.
Since 2012 the Hornsby office operates as a branch office of the Goldrick Farrell Mullan network of lawyers with Barry Mullan as supervising Partner and consultant solicitor Gordon McGlashan attending.
Long-term Humphreys & Feather senior litigation paralegal Christine O'Donnell continues to work at the firm's Hornsby office. Other solicitors and consultants in the firm attend our Hornsby office by appointment.
The office is situated within a short walk from Hornsby Railway Station at the end Hornsby Mall. There is also short term parking nearby drop-offs and deliveries or clients can park free for longer periods in the nearby Westfield Shopping Centre. The office is serviced by elevators and wheel-chair ramp access for elderly and disabled clients.
Home and hospital visits are also available for elderly or disabled clients by appointment.
The firm accepts instructions from other law firms and barristers to act as their agents.
